Hmmm so say change to GR100, with brand new tyres typically need to fork out how much? i think if drive to botak is 200 each right, 800 for all.

$200 each for botak tyres alone? Doubt so la. Leave from TEK to tyre shop immediately after collecting car i also don't think you can get $200 per tyre.

For GR100 tyres, you better check with the tyre shops.

I got quotation of $200 to $350 for 4 (empat) rims plus tyres. Sold for $200+ to a shop who got rims I like.

Sold to sell quickly otherwise no trade in value at all.

Yeah I also think you are talking about tyres only. That's why I said trade in of $200 per tyre is impossible

Hi SalimTan

So which shop you trade your original tyre to?

Any info?

Mazda 2 original 16" rims can take 185/60R16 or 195/55R16 (with an insignificant error of approximately 0.4%)

After I got my car I went around, some info. on tyres for Mazda 2. Please note that my experience may be different from yours:

AL Tyres (Paya Lebar) - They sell used original tyres and rims probably traded in by other Mazda2 owners, look new to me. Also have new 195/55R16 which is relatively rare. Take trade-in of 4 tyres and rims at $300+.

Stamford (everywhere) - Take trade-in at $200+. No 185/ R16, got 185/R15, none 195.

TS Auto (Sembawang) - Take trade-in $300+. No price labels, but will match competitor's price, so you need to bargain. Limited or none 185 and 195.

Monogard (Tampines) - Have new 195/55R16.

AutoBac (Gombak) - Nothing for Mazda2.

many others - Gangster service, poor service, look down on Mazda2.

Any recommendations as to where I can get lighted scuff plates for Mazda 2 sedan? Will be getting my car soon.
