I dont know what's the saga going up above but it's not very nice to drag people's wife and sisters into this situation and make derogatory remarks about them.

 

I mean, just because someone said something which offended us doesn't automatically give us the right to fight poison with poison. We can be better than that.

Yes, I agree, a booming supply with a bad economy will trigger a worse fall, but one of your expressed concerns is buyers being able to buy cheap during high volume period and sell high during low volume period won't go away with constant supply.

 

I am just pointing out that constant supply does not solve that problem.

 

Aiyah.. isn't it obvious.  Salespersons wants us to stay as stupid and blind peasant... easier to lead by the nose.  Those who bought high wants us to stay stupid and blind so we get sucker into paying for high COE also.  

 

I don't think it is safe to extrapolate that way...  that totally ignore the underlying mechanism driving the price changes.

 

If you are not urgent in need of a car, give me some time.  I have been thinking of re-doing my analysis as demand chart so it shows clearly for the current income (not wealth) distribution, how the supply will influence will the pricing.  That chart will be good for a long time to come as long as the income gradients are update with new data from the govt.
