ongster 1st Gear July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 for those who are considering installing the front sensor, please be careful of the clowns at Leng Kee. fyi, the front sensor monitor is color guage and emits sound if it is too close. those clowns install the on off switch at the extreme right hand side below the driver dashboard, when the door close it is not accessible (pls see photo). tried reasoning with the service people, they say that all 2017 impreza is installed that way for safety so that the driver will not reach for it when driving. I call them bulls*** because the Forester one was not like that. anyway if it is for safety, then what about the other buttons in the car? the reason for this is if you are at a traffic light and the pedestrian goes near your car, it will beep non stop and you have to open the door to switch it off. they still insisted their stupid point but say they will help me relocate the button, for the hole left in the panel, they have to indent the part to come in and it'll take one month. damn heart pain they have to unmount and remount everything. really regretted installing it at Leng Kee with those clowns. this is after i made an appointment the day before to install and brought the car down they told me no color. Forrester version: http://www.mycarforum.com/topic/2698911-2015-forester-20/?p=5856808 other bros pls be careful.

ongster 1st Gear July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 Bro, i feel you. so they will change for you the position all FOC? and i saw that its a small dot picture. so it change color according to the distance? I made noise so they'll change foc, if they apologize for making a mistake I can still accept, but they come up with so much cock excuse thinking we're stupid, my service experience with Toyota was never like that. impreza is new model, scared whether they know how to take apart and put back properly or not. back to your qn, the picture was the on off button, the indicator is centrally mounted on dashboard, color changes according to distance, far away indicator far side is yellow (either far left or far right according to the object). as the distance goes closer, more indicator lights up towards center, if object very close the red indicator light towards center is lit and got beep sound. my description very confusing, hope you can catch. ongster 1st Gear July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 (edited) Ivan or who?I called the person in charge of accessories for subaru to complain, cos I used the Subaru website to ask about the front sensor, the person called the service manager and told me what they said. I asked the accessories person for the service manager direct contact but got refused. any bro think of installing just be careful of those idiots, I really cannot understand how stupid they can be and also trying to come up with some cock excuse thinking we're idiots. their service standards ruin a good car.
