Yesterday's updated Toyota price list, it seems they have revised Cat B's COE rebate levels after the last bidding along with increaseing the price by $1k

.

1) Non-guaranteed to by 1k to 42k

2) Guaranteed by 3k to 47k

Cat A remains unchanged at 40k and 44k respectively.

Any views on this?

Sorry bro. No view. But do feel that Coe likely to remain in a tight range between $48K to $52K for both Cat A and Cat B. There's quite a few car launches in the 2nd half. C&C with their Sportage and the new E Class. BM with their new cross over..current car owners with about to expire COE might just renew their COE while those with 2 years may come into the market earlier. So brace yourself.. Me thinks next 7 mths COE will trend up from current levels Edited by BenTong

Market always goes against you as when more people predict up it will be down .... Higher chance will go down next bid .

Most of the time AD will remove free servicing to offset the drop .

When you buy a basic car like altis, service outside is easy, ... Never bother by those free service deal.. I prefer cash, low buying price.. Hehehhe

Ummm... I service outside after the free servicing for my vios and latio, so far, never have problem... As I said, these are basic car, not high-tech with too much electronic to worry about and these car are mechanically very realible... Altis doesn't even come with traction control, it's that basic.. No worry lar... If worry, maybe service with them for 1st year, usually after 1 year no problem , very unlikely to have a lemon... Only worry about warranty if buy new car with high-tech stuff...

Maybe sales has been affected by competitors, esp with the launch of the new civic

Those who will buy a civic without viewing it will never buy altis. Period.

If Borneo, my previous ride is Corolla.  I never go after 1K and 10K.  The SE told me as long you keep a copy of the servicing receipt as proof from outside WS is OK and use only genuine Toyota part.

I changed Speedometer, Power window, door seal all covered by warranty.

If every BM Toyota go servicing at BM WS, I think they will be swamped. There is just too many BM Toyota on SG Road ??

Asked before signing.

Coming back to this COE Topic.

Recently , I see some pricing gap ...... SMS said BM Wish 108K but list price is 116K

Citroen CG4 drop 6K to 120K.

Anyway, I stopped predicting COE price by value.

The COE Lucky Draw for 4400 cars will start Next Monday AGAIN.

Higher or Lower ?

My hunch says its going to be down ... say within +/- $3K range.

1) Not many new promos or intriguing new cars

2) Pricelist mostly remains the same.

3) Show rooms not that crowded. Still can find parking lots at the dealers.

Just my $0.20.
