Hi, anyone knows where to get the auto-dim rear view mirror for the 1.2L car?

Hi Smikel,

Ebay is your best source if dun mind used cos new runs into many hundreds of usd and I dun trust tiong ones cos not all dimming effects...mine has added compass but other have temp reading, autogate remote etc.

2 main consideration are correct mounting and safer to stay those removed with Japs car and do ensure it comes with harness wires.

Cheers.

Hi Daniel,

You need to mod SS switch with microP controlled disabled module but these are no longer offered locally after 70+ whatsapp group bros but you can contact meemee here for very limited quantity older version of these modules that works with some minor constraints but also works.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Hi smikel,

Many sellers and you have to choose yourself with the mentioned 2 considerations in my earlier post on this:

Does Nissan have the power harness cable hidden in the lighting switch on top?

Hi Melvin,

Checked liao ..1.2L dun have but no matter cos you only need power unless you want temp .. you still can get your own thermocouple to do so but computer display oreli have.

Cheers.

I realize my clock sometimes runs an hour behind when I start the car and will automatically update to the correct time when I begin driving for a bit. How does this happen? It has to somehow sync?

Same with me. Tried looking in manual out of curiosity but nothing there. Its not a problem though as long as it syncs eventually. Any bros know why so?

The HU clock sync setting had been set to using GPS time. And dash display is sync with HU.

Hi richard, thank you for the info. I just returned from Aestmod. Fitted the Stebel. Sounds good. 30 minute job. Did not have to remove the bumper. Was told if choose Hella Red, must remove bumper. Just need to remove the top plastic cover near the front grille. Twin horns installed at the front right of car.

Here is a recording of the horn sound Toyota Harrier v Nissan Qashqai original v Stebel, for those who want to know the difference in sound.

Yes. This will be my first mod once I get my car. When I test drive the car, the horn really CMI. What's the price + installation?

Hi Smikel,

Got Hella, Stebel, Magnum etc. any csr accessory shops will do for sgd50-70.

I use Aestmod at 23 Geylang Lorong 11 cos they welcome bros to who buys and bring their stuff their to fix but try to gsther more for best price but there are vim, e-rev, sggarage etc. that bros uses.

Cheers.

Looks good. This function usually available in car that has CAN-BUS taking reading from the ABS. Since on the CAN-BUS. Anyone has the cable & software to change the setting on the CAN-BUS? Thanks.

Hi Smikel,

For obd types, there are already tested ok one that will be intergrated into the car computer and also pending testing of one that does not uses sensors that need batteries.

Cheers.
