I don't think so... if ventilated sure will be written down...

Huh? I think all cars come with front ventilated disc brakes. It’s super rare not to have them ventilated! Rears can still be solid but many are also becoming ventilated.

Ventilated... ah sorry... got it mixed up with cross slotted... ha ha... yes yes... from the i30N video, the front discs are clearly ventilated... but not cross slotted...

Hyundai DCT also incorporate a cooling system and has heat sensors. If the transmission temperature is too high, it will alert the driver to pull over and stop driving.

In terms of gearbox refinement, yes the VW gearbox is quicker and a little more refined. However, in terms of reliability, IMO Hyundai's DCT is better. At the very least, it doesnt have a similar DSG failure like VW and Ford. I recalled Hyundai mentioning that their shifts are deliberately slowed to ensure gearbox reliability. Despite of that, the shifts are still quicker than a typical conventional 6 speed auto. One thing i do like about DCTs in general is their intelligence. As an example, when going down a steep slope, a typical auto transmission when left in D will select a high gear, making it a necessity to slow the car down with the foot brake. On the other hand, with a DCT in D, the transmission will automatically select a lower gear, providing the required engine brake.

I got mine for $84,999. Laser shades, car mats, tinting and car cam. I think only 1k servicing free.. Non guaranteed 6 bids.

I think hv a hight chance to secure the coming coe... Never seen coe drop after a grand motor show.. Won't be surprise if the coming coe bidding will dip again..

Hoping it doesn't dip that much. Those who bought during the motorshow will feel even more depressed...

Didn't u guys notice after the recent coe drop, government start to emphasize on the reduction of coe.. Zero growth.. Blah blah blah.. Simply creating a "fake demand" in my opinion.. But i believe komoco will uphold the price. The current promo for guarantee coe is $93,999 which comes with 5 years free servicing and one year road tax.. An additional of $3000 when i booked mine at $90,999(guarantee coe) but only 3 years free servicing. Does additional 2 years free servicing takes up $2000?

I don't know much about the COE trendline.. doesn't really follow a statistical rule does it..?

I feel the free servicing provided by all the ADs is just a gimmick to lure buyers haha! I read somewhere that servicing elsewhere will not affect the car's warranty anymore? Correct me if i'm wrong  [shocked]

I heard the take up rate is quite good.. In fact the price is the lowest among its class (cat B coe I mean). At least until June when the $10k ves rebate will be taken away.
