Are you talking about Peter Schreyer? He worked for all VW and other VW owned brands all his life except Porsche. Still he managed to make a connection  [:p]

Kia's chief designer is very famous... Maybe Porsche designer trying to learn from Kia?

Well... at least he's the boss now... heh heh... I think he probably occupies a bigger role at Kia than ever at Audi... it was a step up for him I suppose...

I test drove the 2.0 Stinger 2 weeks ago. The quality of interior is very close, if not better than most entry level conti, The drive wise, it was nice mature drive, no silly loud noise, and I can feel grown up feel instead of a boy racer adrenaline rush. There is power available if u want it. I'm driving a 2.0 Skoda Octavia VRS, comparing the 2, the power and shifting of the stinger is not as fast and raw, but i think it is acceptable on the stinger. The price is currently at $162999. Puts me off abit, i'll just wait and see if the price goes down haha, it is definitely worth the money, if u can look beyond the brand, and drive the care for 7 years. Cos some people will still compare its value to the traditional merc, bmw and audi where OMV and ARF are sometimes higher.

Wasn’t it 140+ at the end of last year? If really 163k then can strike it off.

Maybe you should go back to a new Octavia vrs. Which is 30k cheaper.

No. Kia is definitely more reliable than conti cars in general

The VRS is a fun car, driving a combi is very practical for me. I have the boot space to lug things around as well.

The interior of the VW family is quite dated. I doubt Skoda will launch new interiors anytime soon though I saw a few concepts in the recent European motorshows.

Ya $162999 is too much. So just wait and see. No hurry to get one.

30k difference is a lot. I’ll take my chances. If I was only considering these 2.

I did ask about discount. It is 2k off. Not very enticing hahaha

My ideal price will be low 150ish. I know it will be difficult to get 149k again.

Just helped my gf booked a 2.0T stinger. Wanted to upgrade to the 3.3GT 19 inch rIms but was told by agent that the 3.3GT rims can’t fit the 2.0T model. I suspect I’ve been smoked.....can anyone confirm that the 3.3GT rims fit the 2.0T model ?

Likely smoked. Check with USA forums. I’m sure many have done it.
