Thanks for all your replies.

I still have 1 year to decide between renewing or new. I run the analysis based on what it is today.

I do agree that Stream is a reliable workhorse. Perhaps I need to go test drive Bezza one day to see if I like the car.

aiyo, you still got a year to consider.

by then, probably newer models, lower coes or you become rich overnight?

Don't forget me, better screenshot my words

I still think it is better to buy now when Cat A COE is at a 13 month low.

At least you can fetch a sensible sum above paper value for your existing car, with 1 year left to go.

Car distributors have already started to raise prices on Monday after the mad scramble at car showrooms last weekend.

Once Euro 6 emission kicks in this September, even if COE drops, the VES (Vehicle Emission Scheme) charges imposed will over ride this.

Examples are the Subaru Impreza and Nissan Qashqai 1.2 which will attract $10K and $20K surcharges from Sept 2017.

I believe AD will work with the factory to do something about it or they will risk discontinuing the model in Spore. It doesn't make sense to bring a car that is subjected to surcharges to sell here.

Bezza is an under rated, value for money car. However, it faces a brand perception problem.

It amazes me that people would pay $130K for a 1l  Audi A3 sedan. If the A3’s Audi badge is replaced with a Perodua badge, people would say it’s a lousy car.

But if you put an Audi badge on the Bezza and price it at $100K, people would snap it up like hot cakes.

Maybe not only about the badge, it is the quality which you find on the car itself?!

OK la. In all honesty P2 quality is not bad from my previous ownership experience. Think I got mention earlier before I had one major issue but otherwise wear n tear parts very easy n cheap to replace.

I sat in bezza during car show. I suspect the ride quality should be much better than the visual and touch quality. Its chassis is stiffened with high strength steel thus ride quality will be better. It comes with traction control (which i can't find but it is indicated in spec) thus in my opinion, the car is better buy than attrage in term of ride quality and at least, stability control system.

It also comes with toyota engine. Even sgcarmart car review stated better buy than attrage.

I believe bezza is better than attrage, at least bezza is a 4-cylinder engine. I find attrage vibration is great and ride comfort level not say good.

Traction control is an error. They never got around to removing it. Cos I asked them about it when went for test drive.

I showed them sgcarmart.com website and asked them about the traction control and they told me it's an error as only advance trim have it. Think got one more item they mislabelled.

But regardless, yeah bezza ride quality is better with lesser engine vibration.

The Bezza that we get here is export quality, so QC is better than the local ones in Malaysia.

don't they come out from the same Plant?

Less vibration is important, cant stand car which can feel vibration greatly. Lol.

Got A, B, C grades... [laugh]

Besides that Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday cars too. Think this will be cat Z. :D

Some people purposely buy Harley Davison to enjoy the vibrations. [laugh]

It's noisy, vibey, big engine with low power...., none of the positives that majority of the people want. Yet it sells...

If you ever learn motorcycle riding at the training circuit, it's a life time memory. After your first lesson dismounting from bike, your walking becomes a very interesting experience. :XD:

After this, you won't complain about vibrations even if you drive John Deere agricultural machines.

Yeah for a sedan like Bezza should have less vibrations, better pick-up and most importantly cost less than an Attrage. 74.8k versus 77k (after in-house loan finance & trade-in discounts which will total 90k for guaranteed coe). Hope coe price will go south further for tomorrow's bid ;)
