Intermittent Fasting (the IF warrior)

Maybe its a bad habit but I never reject any offer of food from colleagues [:p] Got to try quite a number of Indian snacks from my colleagues celebrating Deepavali this week.

 

Actually these munchkin donuts are not that sweet as they have no filling. It's just air inside and the only sweetness is from the glazing on top [laugh]

Dunkin isn't so sweet compared to Krispy Kreme

agree there. The old school confectionary sugar donuts taste best compared to those overkilled angmo donuts.

from hainanese coffee shop is the best :D

maybe i'm biased. but balmoral bakery at sunset way is the one i grew up eating  [smash]

i don't think i tried before.

 

i like their samosa, pineapple tarts, sugar doughnuts, sugar balls and chicken curry puff in descending order.

Restarted on 12 Oct, during my holiday trip i cheated for 3 days, i ate bakso, chendol and etc too. 

 

This morning weight is X6.1, that's mean i've lost 1.5 kg  [laugh]

Body fat drops from 34,6% => 32.5%

Sun - X7.6

Mon - X7.4

Tues - X7.7

Wed - X7.3

Thursd - X7.0

Fri - X6.9

Sat - X7.3

 

After 4 days holiday trip, this morning is - X7.8

 

Going for another 5 days trip this coming weekend.

 

Will restart from 19 October, then going to do for 30 days for 16:8 aiming to lose 7kg by the end of the ear

Same as me. Hv always been a big breakfast guy. So switching to this, i hv to cope with the hunger even aft slightly more than a wk doing IF. Wat i notice is how well i can cope depends on wat i eat the previous day.

 

I feel much better if i follow the LCHF meals during the feeding window.

 

For me it's big breakfast, medium lunch and little/fruit for dinner. In fact, I'm used to 4 or 5 little meals a day but the bad news is it's very difficult to find makan kakis both at work and after work. The worst is most colleagues will criticize you for being anti-social.

 

I've tried joining people for lunch but not eating anything is even worse in front of so many people lol. That's why it's easier for me to have meals by myself.

Progress is slow, very slow. From 20+ percent to 20% damn fast. Below 20, it’s like 0.1% per week.

 

Last week, 18.9%, today 18.8%.

i was surprised as well when i saw the number of the weighing scale. before holiday is X7.8, came back from holiday X7.1

one phenomenon  i experience is the body would get use to taking less meals and tends to eat less and also feel less hungry. 

 

me seems to be accustomed to 2 meals and taking 3 meals are like too much.

 

i dont enjoy food when  i am not even hungry.

I'm flexible either way. I can eat 2 meals most days. Then eat 3 meals when i want to eat 3 meals.

 

I'll just fast longer if i think i overate the day/days before.

Ham, if you like me, did a few longer fast ( 3-5 days), most time you wont even feel hungry at all. Now i fast 20-22hrs and eat 2-4hrs, but is i eat because I want to eat and not because I need to eat or feel hungry.  [laugh]

 

But when I eat, I can eat non stop.  [:p]  [laugh]  [laugh]

It is really interesting to find out that we can actually control food, rather then have food control us.  [laugh]

 

We used to be bonded by meal times and number of meals a day, now we decide when to eat and how much to eat.  ^_^  [laugh]  [laugh]

One of these days, all of us IF warriors should time our fast to end on a certain day lunchtime. Then

we all meet up and go for a buffet and whack! Ha ha.
