The weather there I think only Hainan and southern Yunnan can plant only.

If you look at what happens to japanese grapes, sweet potatoes and other fruits etc...even their own chinese yangcheng hu mitten crabs  it never ends well.

Like other products, they will mass produce , fake brand, copy... untill its ruined.

But then.... i guess if they ruin it, it means more real malaysian durians will come to singapore instead and we get cheaper prices 😆

MSW is dependent on grafting even using MSW seeds to plant.

That's something they will not teach.

Saw video of people eating it say standard not match Malaysian yet, maybe as the trees mature will change. 

But such things,  in time PRC mass market will get used to China MSW cos they didn't get to taste Malaysian MSW compare. 

Then slowly it will become harder to export to China due to all kinds of hidden barriers... and THEN, China will export into south east Asia instead. It's a process.

If it's 25% of the price, I don't mind even if it's taste reach 70% quality.

Usually I don't mind D24 or kampong durians too so am not particular

Yes, i suppose domestic Chinese tastebuds can be satisfied by their own crops

yup... i also like to eat durian.

but at $20plus per kg MSW... 1 single fruit can easily be $50... need at least 2 for a small family treat🤨

those in box... easily $30 and above for only a few seeds.... really heart pain to buy.😰
