Bodyweight is safest, but still can cause injury. So imagine piling on more weights to the bodyweight.

For environmental reasons, I don't use all these.
Think the PRC tend to create a lot of waste products.

single use body towels, single use socks, single use every damn crap.

FYI

Quote

Producing 1kg of cotton requires between 8,000 and 10,000 liters of water on average. This total water footprint combines both irrigation and rainwater used during farming, though some industry estimates range as high as 20,000 liters depending on the region and farming practices.

People like to use single use item and throw, it is due to they are lazy to do washing?! Lol.

I know people use disposable plate and spoons for eating even at home, cause they lazy to wash.

That's why I mostly do calisthenics. If go gym I do dumbbells with light weights. Mine is all lean muscle those Bruce Lee type.

If want to build bulk muscle like Arnold Schwarzenegger type need those heavyweights plus protein diet.

Nonetheless calisthenics or bodyweight is actually hard to pick up. There is no "starter weight". From the day you begin to try it, you start out at your present body weight [laugh]

Unlike gymming, you can start with lighter weights.

True, Calisthenics relies heavily on core muscle, total body control and stabilization.

Gym equipment usually focuses on specific targeted muscles.
