If possible

everyone should stay in it once in their lives

its cheaper than raffles or Shang but it brings you back to a different era. Staying in a suite, having tea then sitting by the beach .. a fabulous experience 👍

The Singapore bird 🐦

just a small suggestion:

our currency is thrice as valued so things seem really cheap here

m$50 for a meal? Cheap cheap

and we cheap cheap here and there without sparing a thought for the locals

a grab driver earns about 4500 after working 14 hours a day and he is beat.

So let’s keep our chirping and cheaping to ourselves ?

cheers

They really mean afternoon TEA. I went there, and asked for coffee instead to go with the finger sandwiches and cakes. I was told that they only serve TEA with the food, and they have a choice of teas. I suppose they are stickers to the English tradition.

PSLE and school exam schedules out.

Decided to drag my parents to penang for the deepvali PH. They haven't traveled with the grandkids before.

Scoot already sold out. Airasia ticket prices about 10% difference from SQ. So opted for SQ.

That's why I start early lar... driving at around 5-6 am very shiok one... no car moving north... all still sleeping... until around 8.30 am then traffic start getting heavy.... by then already pass Melaka cos it's one of the busiest stretches along the way... and Seremban side just start up jamming only... by the time 9.30 am or so already take the exit 214 and bypass KL already...

Sent Vellfire or Alphard from Southern Best Travel & Tour... I rented Starex from them in June to transport 10 people including my family to Cameron Highlands & KL... very smooth and easy... I think it's about RM480 per day for the Toyotas...I highly recommend... good service, good vehicles, honest operators, and very responsive... I not related... just a satisfied user...

Tell me about it... in Aug 2019 I went in on 10 Aug after National Day holiday... this is the school holiday but not for public... I jam 6 hours at Tuas Checkpoint... almost died from holding my pee...

On 3 Jun 2022, I drove to Penang... it's the Agong's birthday... when I checked in, the receptionist told me the day before, some guests drive from KL to Penang and took 11 hours... they started in the morning 11 am and reached at 10 pm... fainted...

Got the old 737-800NG for penang SQ route too if you are worried. I also purposely selected non-MAX when I travelled there recently. But those planes are really kinda old and wah lao i belatedly realised got no in-flight entertainment, think probably are the old silkair planes.

I was expecting better from SQ, but i saw that the newer 8-max planes got in-flight entertainment.
