I remember my first was in Primary 6. A laminated reddish IC. 2nd wan everyone young and old changed to the pink one. 3rd wan is the one that I'm holding now.

 

Making ppl pay has good and bad. So that ppl will take care of it. Otherwise ppl will just keep applying for one and not bother at all. Might end up a drawer full of ICs.

If you are those who have slight dementia and keep losing your things many $10s can add up to a lot. For those who can hardly make ends meet. $10 is a lot to them. There are a lot of low income folks living among us. Not as rich as that journalist.

It seems the MIW/gahmen have a very limited playbook. Last time it was something about paying more for water so we would value it or something. Then it was about paying more for Mini-Stars so they could preserve their dignity (even though some wise fools have always said that dignity was beyond price).

I guess they really believe in "reduce, reuse, recycle" - they reduce the repertoire of their excuses and reuse and recycle the same old crap.

I may have got it wrong... Maybe it was P6 ISO sec4.... So long ago liow... 😂. 

Making ppl pay if they mishandled It is reasonable. It's the most important document for a person here... So they will value it regardless they pay for it or not. 

Mishandling is simply not an acceptable excuse. Just have to put more effort in it.

I entered gaming rooms when I was 16-18...without having anyone check my nric. 

So my picture then and now not much different except thinning out hairline... 😂

At a certain age, you will be notified to change. Then i was told people in their 50+ were offered to change at $10 or free. So I called ICA and told them they forgotten of me although i have exceeded that age. They told me I fall outside that range and if I want, I either pay or wait foe my passport expiry. So somehow they got many versions.

our "heavily subsidised" pigeon hole healthcare transport are all ridiculous
