I refuse to celebrate ang moh new year because I am not ang moh.

I only celebrate Asian new year. Hari Raya, Deepavali, Chinese new year, Thai new year, Vietnam new year, Korean new year . . . . 

Because I have Asian values.

For me, 2019 ended with shit. Need to quickly find another income source. Was laid off 2 weeks ago. The compensation can only last 6 months with current spending before eating into savings.

Don't dwell on the negative.  Look at it as an opportunity to now pursue what you like to do once again.
