Usually I don't bother with any of these medical research.  If I were to look into it, I would want to know these first

1) Who fund the research?

2) Who fund the institute or the facility doing that research?

Like the soft drinks companies

sponsor research that proof sugary soft drinks does not rot teeth?

Its true if after drink the soft drink, people brush their teeth and gargle with mouth wash immediately!

And who brush their teeth and gargle after every can of soft drink?

Jason Fung is one of the pioneer who heavily promote IF and keto to overcome diabetes naturally.

I don't think he is sponsored because no drug or company will benefit much from his recommendations.

But best not to even reach the diabetes stage. keep healthy lifestyle every day...

Many people know the benefits of a high fiber diet

not many people know which foods are high fiber foods.

Spiced nuts

Popcorn

Potatoes.

Sweet potatoes, red potatoes, purple potatoes and even the plain old white potato are all good sources of fiber; one small potato with skin can provide close to 3 grams of fiber.

Because they're produced from potatoes, chips can also provide several important vitamins and minerals. In particular, some types of healthy potato chips can provide potassium, pantothenic acid, vitamin E, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and manganese.

Beer.

Beer is a complete food: it contains water, carbohydrates, protein, and micronutrients. It’s one of the most ancient foods known to humankind. Grain was being fermented to brew beer 2,000 years before it was used in baking bread

How to reduce added sugars?

Eat foods with no labels.

Buy a box of cereal and it has a label of ingredients.

But an orange or pork chop or cabbage it doesn't have a label.

All fruits no matter how sweet is healthy as long as you don't juice it or blend it.
