Maybe this can serve as an alternative choice of transport, esp in case there is a massive jam on the expressway and people are rushing to go to the airport?! Lol.

In sg, from one place to another place would not take long on normal traffic situation, but if traffic jam then problem liao.

Such a capital intensive and high risk business cannot survive on 'just in case got traffic jam' customer base

I suspect its limited to within the CBD where there's no commercial flight path

But many tall buildings. Unless the min altitude is higher than Sg tallest building.

Ya our traffic is not that bad that we need this.

It's  just an R&D test bed for the air taxi development & to attract additional investors - there's no actual business use here in Singapore.

It'll be a novelty at best, just like the river taxis they discontinued some years back.

They're targeting overseas markets - Jakarta, Bangkok etc could sure use them...

lets say such service come next time.

are we require to wear a parachute i wonder??? 😀

Imagine your take off flight time of 10 mins have to do a pre check flight and listen to the driver tell you where is the nearest exit and to put on you life jacket and adopt the crash position even after you arrive at your destination.

"However, tickets are already on sale, with a 15-minute trip costing 300 euros (~S$485).

While prices are on the steep side, Volocopter said that it should significantly decrease once flights become more widely available."

For that price, can fly to Australia! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Normally.
