I just port-in another number from SIMBA to eight. The port-in is quite convenient. I opted for receiving free SIM card via post. They give you a temp number, which you'd activate it, and the same night port-in happens, by morning when you wake up, it's done.

I've good experience with both zero1 and eight. Paying another $1 for extra data and free roaming should be a good deal. $1 is nothing much nowadays.

And for now, eight gives free $8 for top-up/recharge.

I ported from simba to eight also. for my android player, too many blind spot for simba, even open area like SLE towards BKE near Mandai area my digital radio will cut off cause no network. So far good for Eight since under Starhub

It's happening now. It's advertised on the main page.

They send me SMS to say $8 credited successfully.

No vep so not able to test it out in malaysia on the connection.  😁

Yeah sure. At least they are doing something. I don't think competing to the bottom is going to help anyone. 

I don't need a lot of data. But some small roaming allowance is good. If Eight continues to build a subscriber base, can consider hopping.

1 thing it seems like they don't have data packs yet. It's either 1gb international. No purchase of data packs?

my BIL and SIL switched to simba.

Even 5gb was plenty for me. Going to make full use of the 7gb with 2 trips this month to 3 countries.  And none in the "popular destinations" of Giga. 

All for 12 bucks!
