In local context, self driving, self parking also unnecessary. For me even cruise control also not used. At most 20 min on the expressway if going to the airport.

I have never used the self parking feature in my car although it comes with it, faster to park myself but dynamic cruise control is good for those driving up north.  I have a friend who used it on SG roads daily, to some, it is a requirement.

You Bukit Buttock somemore.

Cruise control is good if you know how to use it.

Cruise good for places like Australia when you drive for hours and hours and not want to exceed 100km/h.

Most people who don’t like dynamic cruise control has never really tried it for a long enough time to know how to use it.

The old cruise control is pretty useless in our stop-go traffic.

Dynamic part of cruise control is my hand and feet.

I will use it especially along KPE when the traffic is not so heavy.

Saw this in one of the NA Tesla FB Groups. Thought of sharing it here. In short, RTFM 😂

There is so much bad advice on this board, even coming from Tesla owners when it comes to charging.

New owners!  Congrats on buying the best car on the market!  But don’t over think your charging habits.  Teslas were designed to not create stress or cognitive overload.

1. Your car has a very modern battery, and the best battery management system on the planet.

2. Follow the instructions from Tesla. The manual is right on your computer (center screen).  The battery screen also tells you what to do.  The internet is designed to give you a lot of bad advice, from people that over think their car ownership.

3. If Tesla says to run YOUR SPECIFIC CAR down to a certain level, and charge up to 100% on occasion then do that. Between those times, don’t over think it.  If Tesla says to charge YOUR SPECIFIC CAR to 80% for daily driving, and only to 100% for trips, then just follow their advice and enjoy your car.

4. Outside of the advice above, Tesla says to keep your car plugged in as much as possible.  Just follow their recommendation!  There are reasons for these things, you don’t have to understand why.  Just enjoy your car and battery longevity.

Existing Owners!

1. Stop explaining battery chemistry to new owners.  They can learn about that if they want to, but you’re just adding to their confusion.

2. Stop giving advice on Tesla cars, like it has anything to do with your Motorola phone from 1999 with a crappy NiCd battery.  Owners don’t need to run their battery down, unless Tesla recommends it for their model/chemistry.  The car will tell the user what needs to happen.

3. The only advice on battery charging you should be giving people is to RTFM.  Follow the manufacturer’s advice.  Tesla knows just a little bit more than you about how to care for a BEV.

It doesn’t sound stupid. In fact, it’s the reverse. Acknowledging that others can be better is a sign of maturity and humility.

There are no “best” things in the world. It’s all relative.

Only egoistic and 死要面子的人 will think it is stupid to admit others are better.

The Zeekr 7X is being released in the land of Oz at a price that's lower than Tesla Model Y according to this article here: https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-news/2026-zeekr-7x-price-and-specs. Adding more fuel to the fire of the price war that's already happening. Good for consumers. 😀

Has a nice a five-year, unlimited-kilometer vehicle warranty and an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty from Zeekr. Intro offer adds another two years.

The 7X has a lot of standard features that puts the Model Y into the poverty category.

Will see what Zeekr prices the 7X here in Singapore / Malaysia.

Pretty much psychologically choreographed but yes, mission accomplished for the mass. Most would for the right price, I know I would 😄

If only this is available in Singapore also.

What if the person crashes the Tesla rental car? Got another one for rent at even lower price?
