Then at least got 2 levels before your skin fragments/hair reaches the surface of the mattress. I would think practically. layering of the above reduces dust mite contamination of your mattress. Bolsters/pillows just throw after a few years. Wash mattress protector every 1-2 months so long? 😅
Kb27 Supersonic June 7, 2021 Share June 7, 2021 (edited) dust mite ? i heard they don't like low humidity - switch on your aircon they don't like heat - get a heat gun and aim at your mattress, but don't start a fire. actually, i use baking soda and heat gun to clear up my toddler's urine on the mattress. i guess i killed some bugs as well. Meanmachine Supercharged June 8, 2021 Share June 8, 2021 Just for sharing . . . The bedroom is the dirtiest place in a home, not the restroom, not the living room, not the kitchen areas or storeroom or Home shelter. We learnt the hard way as we eat sleep and dream all kinds of things on the bed, the mattress, divan, pillars, bolsters etc, the mattress alone is the main culprit . . . After you have successfully vacuumed the complete procedure of mattress area to get rid of odour, mould bacteria and stained after double spray of herbal of essential oil with added baking soda. Turn over the mattress to allow the disinfection process and repeat the cycle, change all mattress cover, protector and fresh pillow cases etc. ( repeat the process every 6 months ) Wear a Mask and hand gloves as germs will start flying in the room as well, wash and sanitise the vacuum cleaner, use a recommended brand preferably.
