Spring Moderator December 15, 2021 Share December 15, 2021 2 hours ago, Beregond said: they are 1 level above chelsea at the moment, only pools can match them. but i feel they slightly ahead of pools. Even when Chelsea seemed to be pulling away from City n Pool, I had mentioned that these 2 clubs are favourites above the Blues. City’s press, fluidity, excellent teamwork n industry stands them apart. Pool also but I feel City has the edge esp with their big squad whose players could easily step into the first X1 seamlessly. With City going out of the League Cup, think they hv a chance to equal Man United’s 1999 treble winning team. City has won a domestic treble before but the “real” treble is UCL, EPL and FA Cup which only United hv achieved for English clubs.

Leeds don’t play park the bus but want to play their normal game n if u catch City on a good day, this is the inevitable outcome😬😅 Chelsea were on top of EPL for several weeks due to their strong n organised defence but it has crumbled over the last few games. Chelsea remain a hard to beat team but they are not as clinical as City n Pool in finishing off games. Having said that, ball is round and injuries, loss of form, suspensions etc could play a part in determining the Champions.
Jamesc Hypersonic December 15, 2021 Share December 15, 2021 Not the student beat the master. The student spent billions and the master has a team that has to run harder to win.

Chelsea is not as decisive as man c or pools in the final 3rd , they still lack the flow of man c. or pools during attack But TT at chelsea barely 1 season only. I think the player need to take more risk esp during 1 v 1 , and do less passing

Even i got to admit man c is playing the best soccer in club football in europe right now, Their passing, procession, by even defenders is a beauty to watch. Their penetrating runs, through ball, pressing is 1 level above the rest. I can say they playing the most beautiful football ATM. rivals fans will scream and point fingers, but it is what it is. but of course end of the day beautiful football dun = to trophy . Other then the holy grail, his record in man c speak for itself.
Jamesc Hypersonic December 15, 2021 Share December 15, 2021 Chelsea are a young team. City players 27, 28, 29. Kai, Mount, Timo not yet 27, 28, 29. When Chelsea players reach 27, 28, 29 they will be as good as City.
Rm2s 5th Gear December 15, 2021 Share December 15, 2021 I think if TT continues with his current trajectory, Chelsea probably had the best prospect in the next 5 years. After the current season, Pep has only a year left in his contract, Kloop has 2 more(?) and we all know replacing a long term (and arguably successful) manager is always tricky. Just look at United and Arsenal.

He even retorted to reporters by telling them “What do u know of Bundesliga, La Liga?” He also was very resentful n disrespectful of teams like Stoke, Burnley etc who played a lot of long balls n high balls too. He has since grudgingly accepted that EPL is indeed a more difficult League compared to other Leagues he has managed before. Unlike many fans who think spending millions is the reason for his success, I don’t quite agree. He is an elite Mgr n whilst I won’t say he is the best; I do think he has a sharp, tactical mind and is always thinking on how to improve his team n outwit the opposition. Of course $ helps in bringing in quality players to up his team to the next level. Even Jose Mourinho couldn’t sustain being at the top consistently despite being supported financially at the clubs he has been so let’s give Pep credit where credit is due. I must put in a word for Juergen Klopp though. He has worked within tight financial constraints at Pool n still achieved success which proves he is also an elite Mgr who is on par on perhaps even better than Pep. Pool will struggle to replace him when he leaves esp if they continue with their tight fisted policy. 6
Scion Turbocharged December 15, 2021 Share December 15, 2021 if you play the Fantasy Premier League game, you won't like Man City 😂 cos Pep always rotate his players you pick Man City players and they sometimes dun play you drop them, they play and score 2, 3 goals for you to dui sim kwa 😂 1

Klopp is good, the only downside is pools boss much more stingy, can say his hand are tie compare to man u, chelsea and man c. But klopp got it lucky with pools transfer sales, barc pay a bomb for coutinho and suarez . Pool invested very well with those money ,and never look back.

I dun know how long before they can get out of this. Plus the KO from ucl group stage, its blow after blow for barc. Before xavi come in they 10 points behind real. today they are 16 points behind and out of UCL . The replacement for KUN?? if any 1 guess it, highly likely is alexis sanchez , discard from man u, unwanted at inter. Barc is almost desperate for him now.. 3
