I read one US officer say Abrams don't care about mud or deep snow, it's engine is so powerful, it just runs over it like nothing.

However, its logistical supply of fuel will have problem catching up.

Even without DU armour the default armour configuration is a pretty solid passive protection already.

And protection can be enhanced if fitted with active protection system.

thats normal, some parts will definitely be removed. its up to the supplying nation.

even the M777 arty is different from what the US army itself uses, the gun is same, but got certain gun laying electronics removed.

iirc... the M1 is multi fuel, can run on diesel too.

But the M1 Abram engine can also run on diesel.

Perhaps they program the engine to run on jet fuel....

But the US Defense Dept initially adopted such turbine engine for the tank was for the benefit that it can run on a few types of fuel though, that flexibility.

No way that Ukraine can tahan operating it.
