Has anyone tried the Jetpac esim from Circles.Life before, when going on trips?

It costs $20/month, for 20 GB of global roaming data, and can cancel anytime (but will charge per month basis - meaning if go for 7-day trip and cancel on 8th day, still charge 1 full month).

Is this a good idea?

i'm on SingTel plan, and will be in M'sia and Thailand for a few days, so am considering between this or the readyroam by Singtel, which is cheaper at $15, but only 4GB.

Any feedback or suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

currently using it for swiss/germany

20GB/$20 20day trip 4pax sharing - 1GB per day for navigation and simple surfing is sustainable. keep the heavy surfing back in room using hotel wifi

BUT BUT BUT

arrived Munich with only 2G connection, basically no network, drove immediately to Switzerland and minimally 4G and some 5G - signal will drop in rural areas. spend 15days with 5GB left for last leg in Germany

BUT cross back border and only 2G

The stupid CS is non existent and no resolution

Had to pay for a separate German data sim for the last few days

Other than Germany - the $20/20GB is quite worthwhile and simple to use and sufficient

Please check with Circles directly on the country u want and how to troubleshoot before you buy

I use the apple sim and subscribe to the data plan, truphone, when I arrive at the airport, using the airport WiFi. No need to queue or anything, just a few minutes. My germany plan 20gb 30 days is 28euro. Nevervuse finish. I think 10gb is 20euro.

Speed was fast and reliable. Assuming u have ipad with apple sim. Can set up hotspot to share.

Using this for many years..  every country I have been works

Usually I just buy a local sim, which is useful for calling local numbers as well.

yes, for single destination short trip, local sim is the cheapest and simplest option. and yes, local calling comes in handy too.

Was looking at this b4 my trip got cancelled.

https://www.icard.com.sg/

Used this for my 9 day trip to Korea

2GB a day more than enough for navigation

and posting accident videos on MCF.

No issues at all.
