I am all for share resources, these road must be shared equally by all cyclist, motorcyclist and vehicle owners.
But people need to use a bit of brain power to understand on which mode of transportation is appropriate on what type of road (also timing). Every morning a few angmohs (and a lady) die die must ride their cycle on busy road making buses to switch lanes and going back and making entire lanes to slow down because they want to have healthy life style, nevermind if those roads are equipped/suitable for cyclists.

Not saying what merc did was right,
I see he cut the Chevron and then cam car proceed to switch lane when he try to go to first lane.
If I am cam car and feel what he did was wrong, then just submit to SPF rather being a policeman and try to block/stop him doing his stunt.  (need to correct this because he was making U-Turn and he need to be in extreme right lane so Cam-Car didn't have much of the choice).

Merc should get points and cam car should get warning.
Please stick with your lane if both lanes are leading to same direction, and it was not like cam car was going right after completing turn.

If cam car took the other lane, it will be cam car hitting the kerb ...

Near my place there is exit from small road which blocked anyone crossing over to 4 lane road. But people don't want to spend a few minutes to take proper U-Turn or take a 2 minutes Detour to join proper lane. Sooner or later similar situation will happen there.

If you see truck beside you, either speed up (only if there is enough space ahead, don't speed up and still stuck on blind spot)

give them space to go first.
A few times when coming from Garden by the bay to MCE->AYE some long vehicles are on left lane, I will purposely slow down and let them filter although people at back so freaking impatient that they want you to go fast in merging lane.
