I was told Fit's rear shock absorber very seldom spoilt!

Buy the parts and pay for the labour.

Turbocharged

Borrow this thread,

When changing shock absorbers/suspension, is it better to change the front and rear together?  Or there is no issue changing the 2 sets separately.

Front with the heavy engine will likely ear out much quicker. No need to change all 4 as long as same type (ie all comfort type) or OEM. That's for me anyway.

But let's say the car is at half way mark, then just spend a bit more replace all 4 to last till end of COE.

Concur. I would just change all at once. Anyway 10 years likely only ever change once for regular use.

My car is 8yr+ and havent even change 1st time. But only 110k mileage. Engine mount is bit chui liao, car got some vibration on idle.

My previous altis had leaking shocks at around 5 year mark. changed front and rear. But sold it at 6.5 year old lol.

Tks for all the input.

Rear right side, I can hear the clock clock sound. I can see the car body is one finger lower than the left side(between car body and tyre). ie. Right side is there fingers, where else left side is four fingers.
