Your concern?

physical TnG car still besterest

eWallet link with TnG ...

worry wrong deduction ... especially deduct twice

also reported deduct more ... the final amount/balance bo tally

[sweatdrop]

that's in the beginning when motorist start to link TnG card to eWallet

hopefully now the system has stabilized with zero errors

when it comes to epayment ... must be zero error and fail proof

Smarttag is the best solution.

Except when it's raining..... ir there is a minor tint to your windscreen.

I had issues on and off with mine through the years needing to hand-hold at the right angle in the middle of the windscreen. At least better than some poor schmucks in the rain that still need to open the window/door and raise above their heads - at least make sure wiper does a swipe before entering the gate. 😄

It is an ewallet, safer than using credit cards. You can limit the amount in the wallet.

Double deduction? Never happened to me. Actually I prefer to deal with TnG, via their apps, then emailing/calling TnG office dealing with refund on my physical TnG cards. It is bad.

Exactly... my dad's refund still taking place... keep asking for so many things... finally now they said they have proceeded with refund... whatever...

How to deduct twice? Those reported cases, we don't know what else the drivers did actually.... only reported deduct twice... anyway, no such issues now I think... maybe they read the TnG transaction history wrongly... hahaha... TnG from China software... should be good...

the reason deduct twice before the 1st deduction was not recorded or slow

user need to redo hence then deduct again … afterwards the transaction came through

that was the initial problem due to lag, system bug, also like you said user issue

but i guess the system is a lot more stable now since TnG eWallet has been used extensively

You need to email them to follow up. I just refused to donate my money involuntarily.

The lack of availability of NFC T&G card at petrol ksioks and other authorized retailers but its availability at mark up prices in secondary market stinks like high heaven.  It just tells you there is a lack of proper control at TnG.

That's why now got open review of the monopoly of TnG for payment at tolls etc... this will improve the situation cos got different competitors... whether or not the hardware at the toll booths work flawlessly or not is another ball game... but I think the government can threaten to end the highway toll collection monopoly if the operator doesn't play ball with the toll gate hardware...

Just scrap all tolls lah

The contract to collect tolls for the NSH ended years ago.

Why are they still collecting money and increasing the rates?

:D

Right (passenger side) headlight?

No bro... it's the left headlight and some towards the edge of the body and not towards the centre of body... which probably means will have issue with the detector reading the tag? I presume it's a TnG RFID tag since this is a Malaysia plate car...

Not sure why eh? But the two RFID tags don't look the same shape... so not sure they're meant for the same purpose...
