Recall the news earlier this week at Taipei , 78yr old driver the speed past a traffic light/ pedestrian crossing, ramming into a mum on the motorcycle killing her and school children crossing the road to school. 

Someone wrote she had similar traffic incident with the same man 5 years ago.

 

 

This taiwanese old man is apparently in a coma and initial investigations ruled out DUI. So right now, nobody knows why that old man crashed into the people at the junction.

Yah, not really sure what happened to him....

Before the crash already not driving properly, hit kerb then reverse and hit car.....

Lesson learned for this case will be , when feeling unwell, while still conscious, off the engine, that would be the min one could do.

The man in coma so can't defend himself. But is possibility too. 

Many people behave differently when holding the wheel compare to holding a pen.
