Early morning on my Grab ride to T3  the driver mention nowadays his morning to airport a lot travel to China,  Japan. 

Not many to Taiwan which previously very hot destination.

Japan has a unique offering that is beyond discussion. China offers very good value and is very diverse with much to see. Taiwan got what?  Maybe nice people?

I did a Taiwan road trip 2 years ago and it is hard to get me to return anytime soon.

Happy to hear why some visit Taiwan regularly.

Shanghai's famous crab dish that is creamy, savory with an indulgent taste but not my thing as well. Maybe I don't know how to appreciate it. 

I am curious to know if @Tohto is a fan since he visits Shanghai often.
