Turbocharged

the marseelee windshield washer fluid that I bought in bulk many years ago ran out recently

then I use some free sample I got when buying engine oil, Australian brand Penrite

the glass is very greasy now, got to throw it away, free one really no good

bought this from Lazada, I was surprised it is sold by Audi Singapore

came very well packed in a big carton box

will update when I use it

VAG one, dilution ratio is 1:10

marseelee one is 1:100

Well, i bought front and rear windscreen wipers.  next week arrive, i will install.  muayhahhahhahhah

here's a tip, you probably already know it

at rest position, if the wipers are blocked by the bonnet, there is a way to park them to vertical position for wiper blade replacement

1 - press "Engine start button" without starting the car (no foot on brake) once and then press one more time to turn it off

2 - press and hold the washer button

the wipers will marikita, park sui sui for you to DIY

I use this

I like it better comparing to cobra because

- smooth jaws, surface of the fasteners won't get marred

- jaws open and close in parallel

- unique fulcrum design than gives very strong grip

yes and no

most (>90%) motorcycles have wet clutch,  clutch plates soak in engine oil

they need engine oil with friction modifier to work properly

a small percentage of motorcycles have dry clutch (like manual car)

those can use car engine oil

my motorcycles all dry clutch one 😁

I use this on my motorcycle that require 20W-50 high zinc mineral oil

@kobayashiGT I enjoy the process and of course the savings, cause "time" is a state of mind, the time taken to go workshop and collect is also "time"

I'm quite streamlined on the things I need to do, a simple oil change/filter change usually everything from start to finish I can do under 1h. So its quite quick vs driving to/from workshop. And no doubt the savings.

A conventional oil change for my car is only 2.5l oil and filter. I buy 4L oil for $28+ and a filter is $5. Can't beat those prices. And moreover, most shops "advertise" 4L oil but my car at 2+ litre, I don't get the balance back.

But you drive to the workshop to dispose of the oil right?

Seems like that is the main mafan part, pour the used oil from the oil pan into bottles and then not making a mess. In the end still need to drive to workshop to throw.
