Wah boss sounds like exam question, I need to ask relevant department on this. Not speaking on behalf of the company, but my own check is  that it is compliant with SAIC- CATL battery GB3031-2025.

For the graph you’re asking for, I don’t think we have such information. Either way, if it’s compliant to be sold in Europe & SG, you can rest assure that it is safe and good.

Sorry ah if I fall short in any way.

Haha thanks for your concern bro. Don’t worry about me. Goat is very adapt at climbing mountains.

Sorry for spamming the post, i am not sure how to edit or merge replies. Correction again, our battery maintain GB3031-2025 standards from factory. 👍

Can you post the 3rd party test certificate on the SAIC-CATL battery pack from CATRC? It should be available if it's compliant to GB38031-2025.

An example from CATL on their Qilin battery pack (both NMC and LFP chemistries) showing compliance to GB38031-2025 is below.

CATL_GB38031-2025_test_cert_pack.thumb.jpg.a04868ec69235c7814636c84b0949507.jpg

Regarding the LFP battery degradation graph, it should be available from CATRC if the typical LFP pack was tested to meet GB38031-2025.

Thanks.

It has all the bells and whistle. Just that dealer offer a not so ideal trade-in for my current ride and less perks.

Else it's a no brainer.

@Gizmore There is a MG Whatsapp group with a wealth of information and existing owners which may provide an "on the ground experience" with S6. Recently, they have released a FAQ like documentation for most common queries. So from there, can "agar agar" the pain point(s) (if any).

MG is not aggressive as BYD, so they do not offer good deals.

@AriesGoat What type of electric sedans is MG selling now? Just saw 18 electric sedans registered by MG and reported by LTA for the month of July 2026.

Data source: https://www.lta.gov.sg/content/ltagov/en/who_we_are/statistics_and_publications/statistics.html

Don't see any electric sedans on MG Singapore website?

Hi, I wouldn’t have any idea, I just joined and we do not have any electric sedans as of now from what I understand.

Thanks for clarifying that Eurokars don't offer any MG electric sedans. Will feedback to LTA about the error in their reporting numbers for July 2026. Most likely it should be MPV category with M9.

MG and IM Motors (both under SAIC) vehicles are categorised together, just like how BYD and Denza, Toyota and Lexus are.

The 18 sedans are IM5 EV.
