These are worse than true hybrids IMO..

They increase your depreciation, don't add real mileage and you still have another battery replacement cost to worry about...

If I do get a hybrid, I'll prefer the Honda type which has good integration and adds power whilst helping with mileage..

Honda hybrid doesn’t combine both power.

It is either electric or ICE

Anyways this thread is to chat about or perhaps recall the heydays of ICE

so only ICE, no EVs nor hybrids be it mild or otherwise

plenty of threads for those already

a dying breed maybe but many existing car owners here I’ll bet

Most German Cars are Mild Hybrid to meet the Emission Standard, then PURE ICE not much except you talk about Rolls Royce or Bentley...Lower End is Toyota Altis, because even Mazda 3 is consider Mild Hybrid.

Mild hybrid is NOT hybrid.

It does not drive drivetrain.

For some High Engine German Cars like Mercedes Benz,BMW & Audi,it ''Assist'' the Engine in Move off.

Yes.

When I try driving my colleague GLB180 I was quite surprised the move off feel quite light.  But run out of breath above 50km/h. So city low driving will still not that bad.

It depends on type of assistance you mentioned.

The only real assistance is electric motor sitting in motor.

The rest is just aux assistance.
