Kpod? Kpop? Kpot?

Recently there has been so much news about Kpod users and sellers getting arrested...  And no, I'm not referring to Kpop (BTS, Blackpink, KPop Demon Hunters) or Kpot (Korean Hotpot). I'm talking about this little e-ciggarette/ vape that has been harming people around the world. Why do people still do it?

What's worse is that those youngsters who do it, they worry their parents so much, even sometimes threating and abusing their own parents just for their own pleasure of getting a puff. Here are some articles as example:

https://mothership.sg/2025/08/teen-kpods-gathering-father-confront-supplier-punched/

Oh, and don't get me started on the number of road accidents linked to Kpods too. Just look at these few examples:

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/etomidate-found-blood-vape-pods-punggol-fatal-accident-5257841

Hazard on the road, hazard to their families, hazard to the young ones, and a hazard to society too.

What are your thoughts on this recent issue? And what other ways do you think the government can help curb this problem, apart from what they’ve done recently?

This object looks like the good ol days electronic "valves" that work by thermionic emission, now replaced by modern semiconductor devices.

High-end audio amps still use valves as some aficionados prefer the so-called "warmer" sounds.
