And because of brood parasite behaviour, koels actually help contain the population of the more 讨厌crows. So koel is still the better of the two evils 

 

 

But crows at least don't have mating calls at 4am-5am which woke people up from sleep lo. Actually i never see a koels before, always hear their annoying sound and yet never able to see it on the trees.

Speaking of 广场舞, last time when i stayed in a 老人区 estate, one week few times would have one group of aunties playing loud music downstairs my blk at the open area enjoying their 广场舞. 😅 I could hardly hear my TV.

and crows don't scream non-stop! 

They say koels help contain the population of crows but I see more koels than crows in my estate.

Wouldn't say afford... I'd say less skilled.

If I hear continuous tok tok sound from a tennis court,I'd go and see, because it's likely two good players having a rally. The sound from the ball is also muffled.
