Definition of green parking lots

It seems like there is no clear definition of Green Parking Lots in Singapore

It’s understandable those with attached chargers are for EV and rechargeable EV hybrids. Example - IKEA and newer malls 

There is also another class which are green lots, with no chargers Example - older malls built after 2000

Currently, there are many mild hybrid and non-rechargeable/ range extender Hybrid EVs

Will these vehicles be able to park in the green lots without penalty?

mine is COE car, I have lesser carbon foot print because i never send my car to the scrapyard and landfills. Consider green? 😁

MBS. Near the escalators. Got "green vehicles" for hybrid.

I think even if you rent Getgo Mazda3 mild hybrid, can still park there. Technically it is part hybrid mah...

There are 2 type of Green Lot:

1. Official: This is purely for EV/PHEV for charging.

2. Unofficial: Up to car park operators.

It's up to operators to define how they want to allocate their lots.

10 years ago, when hybrids not so common, green lots were available at some malls, and as long as your car got Hybrid badge, you can park.

Some places still have such lots. But many now are EV lots with chargers.

Actualli hor, the green colour on grab prius teksi does looks good on it
