miscommunication perhaps, since you said "GR-80 is a 55/60+ profile only".

I am using 45 series GR 80. Actually its not that quiet and a little hard riding. Performance is ok. I prefer the Toyo T-1 R

My time for my rubber shoes is up. Read thru alot of forums and stuffs, thinking of getting Bridgestone Turanza GR-80. I looking for Comfort and Quiet types. Any Sunny owners have them in? I might be looking for 195/60/R15 ones.. Which shops will give me the best price? =)

yes i am on GR80 for my MPV. 195/65/R15

Quiet, and more grippy than the stock Bridgestone B390 .

i got it from Autobacs previously...$125 each.. comes with unlimited free nitrogen gas top up, lifetime (tyre, not us!) repair and free wheel balancing after 10 000 km.

A little on the high side i think...but for convinience and time factor.. no choice lah...if not gotta take leave to go other tyre shops which dont open on sundays

By that do you mean the ride is very hard, like bumpy? Is that because the tyres are hard?

I used it on my Seat Toledo for 2 years. Found it very quiet and comfortable. Try changing the tyre pressure slightly. When reading through Torque mag on the various tyre articles, they sometimes mention that changing tyre pressure affects noise level and comfort level. Found that to be true wit my current Pirelli 6000s

Hi,

Anyone know how much to pump for GR80? I just fixed 4 of them and they are very good! IT is just that I feel that acceleration is a bit slower and the tires looks a little under inflat (due to softer sidewall??). I pumped 235 into them. Is it enough?

Appreciate any advice...thanks.

Thanks Kanr!

Just info for all bro and sis. The price of GR80 varies A LOT between different shops. I have checked from big ones to small ones including those recommended by many bros in this forum and the price for 195/55/15 ranges from $105 to $150!! Do check out the prices of different shops before changing cos it could mean up to $180 per set.

Happy Driving!
