Pay first, test drive later?

MI is not too sticky about test driving Rex's. It's the STI that you can't touch. When I was at MI 14mths ago, you could't "test drive" the STI unless you made a booking for the Rex (which is effectively placing a 5K deposit). And mind you, by "test drive" they actually mean "You Sit, They Drive". [laugh]

My definitely doesn't look like gin-na. If SE mistook my friend for gin-na, I really recommend wearing magnifying glass. cool.gif

Friend has 20 over years of driving experience & choosing between the alfa & opel. Only thing that is stopping friend from buying the alfa 146 is they don't have the color friend wants. Alfa trying to make friend buy a red one but already got 2 red cars at home. bounce1.gif Anyway, the Astra turbo is with journalist. Not sure when coming back.

Yeah, I am sure we can give a "fair-er" opinion about the cars we drive knowing that these journalists are easily biased to say good stuff about whatever they are given to try. thumbsdown.gif

like what seanseane says, perhaps its the 2litre version?

is the 2 litre version on turbo?

if yes, i do understand such a ruling cos some first timers might not be able to handle a turbo car properly
