i just got ctek battery sense installed yesterday. yesterday night it was showing 88 % and today afternoon 54%. only iroad v7 is running thru the night. With that statistic, that means the battery will be flat if i dont drive for 3 days.

 

i saw that there is a battery protection in the iroad apps. by default, it is enabled and sleep voltage set at 12v. i am thinking about this setting. does that mean that when battery voltage reach 12v, iroad will be shut down. does that mean that the minimum voltage required to start the engine is 12v?

Hi, I am thinking of getting the G model.

 

The G model don't have start-stop, Honda sensing and other electronic stuff right?

 

Don't want those stuff to reduce parts failure in the future.

Is it a good idea?

While the basic G model is the cheapest in Japan due to our fantastic LTA CEVs grading it falls into the same CEVs banding as (old)S. Not sure about RS CO2 Emission though.

 

current CEVS rebate banding:

G =$5K

X =$10K

S = $5K 

 

Please note S is obsolete now RS.

 

The CEVs rebate would have an impact on the final selling price.

Hi, i asked my installer earlier. 12v sleep voltage means should the car battery drop to 12v, iroad will shut off so that it conserves the car battery.

 

For vezel, the minimum voltage to start engine is 11v. If you are away for long period because of holiday, suggest you pull out the connector to prevent battery flat.

 

Mine is set at 11.8v, reason he quoted is because sometimes vezel operating voltage may hit 12v, in those instances, your iroad may shut off to conserve battery.

Hi Patwong, I don't think it would be easy to find a G model out in the market today.. The bigger players in the PI industry mostly bring in the X or RS. Nonetheless, you may wish to take a look at existing 2015 stock's X model which comes with startstop and CTBA if you are in a rush to get your car. If you do not want to use startstop, you can simply turn it off with a press of a button.

 

However, if you want a 2016 model Vezel, it is still possible to get a X model without the Honda Sensing! Honda Sensing is an add option that you have to specify when making your purchase.

 

Personally, I would feel that the minimum one should go for is the X model as the price difference between X and G is not too big but the difference in equipment is huge. Eg. Startstop, full LED headlamps, ctba, 8 airbags(1 for each side window, 1 infront of each front passenger and 1 beside each side passenger seat.)

Hi, maybe that's why the price difference btw G and S model is not obvious.

 

I prefer less electronic stuff in car, one part malfunction might has a chain effect.

Not sure if PI workshop could handle these issue.

But nowadays most car are equipped with those stuff as standard.

I think need to make a choice when time comes.

Just collected my Vezel 1.5X Silver, c/w CIIS Ceramic Coating for body & glass. Very swee. V-Kool applied too. Smooth ride home!

How is your ceramic coating? Mine is glass coating from some lab, claim only they can... Initial seems ok.. but after 6months water stains becomes obvious..different from what has said.. would like to see effect of ceramic coating..

1) there is no rear aircon. However there are vents below the front seats and if you set the blower setting to fAce and leg, the rear can get some cold air. If you do no wish to, you can set aircon temp lower and fan speed higher and I feel that it is adequate enough.

 

2) no there is no spare tyre for all models of Vezels. It comes with portable tyre repair kit with inflator and some solution

 

3) no there is no sun roof option.

The car that you saw advertised should be a car that they have fitted for someone's delivery. So I don't think you will be able to purchase that particular car in the ad. However you can of course order another one of the same colour and spec as the one you saw in the ad.

 

Usually the dealer fits leather and headunit before registering your car. Although I think some dealer does fitting of leather and headunit first even if nobody has bought the car yet.

 

The vezel comes from factory with cloth seats.

I meant when we are ordering the car from PI, do they limit the choice colour of leather? Understand some ask for top-up for red colour... Just wanna have a sense how much the top-up is
