Moskva Neutral Newbie March 15, 2016 Share March 15, 2016 Rumor has it that it should arrive after July. As to whether its worth the wait depend on you cos Honda sensing is more a preventive technology so if you are a careful driver than probably just good to have features. I notice that sign recognition function is only meant for Japanese signage so apart from speed limit other local signage will prob not be recognised.Any idea if these features are applicable to a certain variant only? Heard RS will have these features... Not sure abt the X ones.. ↡ Advertisement

Carbon82 Moderator March 16, 2016 Share March 16, 2016 (edited) Upon reading the Tesla S issue with LTA on CO2 emission value, I started to get curious of with CO2 emission values of PI car, and the first model to come to my mind is Vezel. Over the weekend, randomly picked and checked on some Vezel details and am suprised that there seems to be inconsistency with LTA's data as well. OK, here are the info I have gathered so far, Vezel "G" (Honda Japan rating 112.7g/Km): Local reading 139g/Km (Band B with $0 CEVS rebate) Vezel "X" (Honda Japan rating 112.7g/Km): Local reading between 115 - 126g/Km (Band A2 to A3 with $10,000 - $5,000 CEVS rebate) Vezel "S" (Honda Japan rating 120.9g/Km): Local reading 123g/Km (Band A3 with $5,000 CEVS rebate) Vezel Hybrid "X" (Honda Japan rating 89.3g/Km): Local reading 94g/Km (Band A1 with up to $30,000 CEVS rebate) Any Vezel owner here has other CO2 emission reading different from the above? And what could have resulted in the variation (especially "X" model, which may fall into band A2 or A3)? Edited March 16, 2016 by Carbon82
K20VTEC 2nd Gear March 16, 2016 Share March 16, 2016 Not really so concerened about CEVS rebate but I think majority X owners falls under the 10k category. When you take a look at vezel's maximum laden weight then thats more concerning.. Its not very high.. But if you take a look at HRV's its rated at 1.7 tons if im not wrong.. its weird

And what could have resulted in the variation (especially "X" model, which may fall into band A2 or A3)? Our scholars at LTA formulated special formula for Singapore CEV. Any way, all PI to save cost, just buy the emission test report. so basically all will have the same CO2 emission results.

And what could have resulted in the variation (especially "X" model, which may fall into band A2 or A3)? OK, maybe I am not clear enough with the data I have gathered. Let just zoom in on the most popular vserison, the "X" model (Honda Japan CO2 emission value is 112.7g/Km). Here we have: 115g/Km (CEVS Band A3 with $10,000 rebate) 117g/Km (CEVS Band A3 with $10,000 rebate) 119g/Km (CEVS Band A3 with $10,000 rebate) 121g/Km (CEVS Band A4 with $5,000 rebate) 123g/Km (CEVS Band A4 with $5,000 rebate) 126g/Km (CEVS Band A4 with $5,000 rebate) And for model "G", the local reading of 139g/Km is >20% difference from Honda Japan reading (112.7g/Km). Tesla S part 2?! With $5,000 difference in CEVS rebate, some PI may ended up with more profits than others, whereas for owner, that mean a PARF difference of between $2,500 to $3,750. Not really so concerened about CEVS rebate but I think majority X owners falls under the 10k category. When you take a look at vezel's maximum laden weight then thats more concerning.. Its not very high.. But if you take a look at HRV's its rated at 1.7 tons if im not wrong.. its weird Yah, Vezel is between 1,455Kg - 1,465Kg (for "G" & "X" model), whereas it is 1,760Kg for H-RV. Very weird indeed. Edited March 16, 2016 by Carbon82

The difference in max laden and unladen weight is really very little considering X weighs 1190kg and 1465 is it's max laden weight according to LTA, the difference is 275kg. I am pretty sure with 5 adults and a boot full of luggage, 275kg is very easy to exceed. Anyone has any luck from any japan sources stating max laden weight allowed for Vezel? K20VTEC 2nd Gear March 16, 2016 Share March 16, 2016 Thanks bro. looks like a good product. Have you tested it before? How is your feedback? No, I have never tested it nor do I have it installed on my car. However, if you join the Facebook group, you will be able to see that they conduct mass orders for it and some users share their screenshots of the app that they link up with their CTEK and you can see battery percentage and even a time graph showing your battery voltage levels if im not wrong.. Just like how some bros have installed in car cameras and because of the parking mode which constantly saps power from the battery, they are able to monitor and see that their battery is weak at _% level
Caishen Neutral Newbie March 17, 2016 Share March 17, 2016 I just came back from a overnight trip to Melaka.. Driving up and down was not too bad, but with a few concerns.. Pump at Petronas after Tuas, drove ard melaka and drive back.. 1 full tank just nice. Top speed i achieved was 155km/hr and it was quite hard trying to push further.. Achieving 140km/hr was quite a breeze and managed to reach Melaka toll in slightly less den 2hrs with 1 pit stop in between. First issue, tyres are damn noisy.. cannot tahan esp at high speed Wind noise was also bad, might needa go down Edwin to do the rubber seal for windows.. 2nd Issue, at 140 trying to control the car was abit challenging, maybe cus it was slightly drizzling and the wind was stronger, car tend to sway abit.. am wondering will installing Rigid collars help for such issues at high speed?? Roads were definitely bumpy along the way.. can feel quite significant.. at 155km/hr trying to steer was a little bit harder already.. maybe lowering the car might help.. Car Setup: S model, E/o castrol 0w20 (due for servicing), Petrol pump: Petronas 97. Night drive to and back. 3 Pax.. Any advice?? 155km/h hard to control Liao?Hard to up than 155km/h? 140km/h stable? Wind sound very bad when hit 140km/h? I'm wondering choose Toyota Altis or this Pi Vezel.....

I would think there's a cut off time. Try doing neutral gear next time to kickstart the engine cut off again. ↡ Advertisement
