  3. Fans will be able to catch their favourite Marvel superheroes at Marina Bay Sands on Apr 16. SINGAPORE: Marvel’s biggest superheroes are once again descending upon Singapore shores on Apr 16. And this time it’s the biggest star of them all - Iron Man Robert Downey Jr - leading the charge. He will be here for a red carpet publicity event at Marina Bay Sands for Avengers: Infinity War, which will be released in Singapore on Apr 25. Also coming to Singapore is Oscar-nominated actor Benedict Cumberbatch, whose mind-bending cerebral superhero Doctor Strange will be making his Avengers debut. Actress Karen Gillan, who plays blue-skinned, cyborg assassin Nebula - sister of Zoe Saldana's character Gamora in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies - and Infinity War co-director Joe Russo will also be in attendance. Similar to other Hollywood blockbuster red carpet events held in Singapore, fans will get the chance of a selfie or an autograph with the film’s stars. The event is open to the public with no fee. Anticipation for Avengers: Infinity War is building as the latest instalment in the franchise brings together the heroes of just about every movie Marvel has released to date. For those who have kids, bring your kids along to watch Ironman up close and personal! For those who are still dating only, bring your gf along because Ironman/Robert Downey Jr/Tony Stark is every girl's dream date! For the single ones, pretty sure you are an Ironman/Avengers fan. And for the rest of us, go because it's FREE lol.
  4. Hey guys, So after many years of abuse (more like the last 2 once my 3-year old twins started crawling), I'm thinking of selling my 12 year old Infinity Alpha speakers which I use as my 5.1. Also my big beef is my current amp - Denon AVR 1910 - which is very flakey when switching inputs. And staying in a smallish flat now and not waiting to piss off my new neighbours, I'm thinking of going with a smaller 5.1 setup. Not like Bose small... more like bookshelves. Looking at a few bookshelf speakers for front and surrounds from Wharfedale and Boston Acoustice. Also checked out some Yamaha but they sound tinny after the full warm sound of my old towers. Any other recommendations for bookshelves with an AVR with at least 4 HDMI inputs? Budget about 2k.
  5. My friend has search the net for a 4 inch speakers to fit her BMW 320i without cutting big holes in her door panel. She said the Infinity 4022i or 4032CF seems to be the right size to just fit into the car, as indicated in overseas BMW car forums. http://www.dealtime.com/xPO-Infinity-REF4022I Where can she buy four of the speakers for her BMW? Who is selling this particular model in Singapore? Or die die have to oder thru the internet as a last resort? She went to a few audio shop and none of them sell this model in 4 inch size, 5.25inch seems to be more common. Anyone knows where to find this particualr model in SIngapore? THanks.
  6. As above. Would appreciate if anyone can give me a heads up. Thanks in advance.

  12. Although Jap, this G35 is offered in the US only. I really adore this baby! Engine & Transmission Power on the G35 comes from the 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ35DE, a derivative of Nissan's ubiquitous VQ-engine series, which has been recognized as one of the "Ten Best Engines" by Ward's Auto World magazine for seven consecutive years now. Fully built of aluminum, this V-6 produces a healthy 260-horsepower at 6000rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque at 4800rpm, thanks to a long list of advanced systems, like continuously variable valve timing control, micro-finished crank journals and cam lobes, and molybdenum coated lightweight pistons. It also features a "noiseless" timing chain for silent operation and an electronically controlled "drive-by-wire" throttle system. So far, the power plant is mated to an advanced 5-speed, electronically-controlled automatic transmission with a manual shift mode, but soon after the introduction of the 350Z and G35 SportCoupe, a 6-speed manual will be available, which should suit the car's dynamic character much better. Suspension Based on a four-wheel multi-link setup, the G35's suspension uses two separate lower links and a long upper link up front to minimize alignment changes. A design separating the shock absorbers from the springs by locating the former inline with the wheel center, in the rear helps reduce suspension friction and wind-up motion of the axle during acceleration. Intended to provide a smoother and more comfortable ride, the suspension utilizes aluminum components for reduced unsprung weight, and incorporates "ripple control" shock absorbers with damping control lips to suppress high-frequency, micro-amplitude vibrations. The optional sport-suspension features tauter springs, higher damping-rate shocks and wider 215/55R17 performance tires. Brakes Decelerating the G35 are 4-wheel vented discs, sized 11.7 x 0.9 in. up front and 11.5 x 0.6 in. in the rear. They are coupled to a 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), to distribute the brake force depending on load condition (passengers and cargo), and Brake Assist, which senses hard or panic pedal application and to provide maximum braking capacity. Chassis Laser welded roof- and body-side-panels, in conjunction with a dual bulkhead engine compartment construction result in superb structural rigidity, and enable the entire body to function as a damper for vibrations. Driving stability, ride comfort, and noise reduction should benefit from these enhancements. Aerodynamics Mizuno, leader of the Skyline (G35) design-group, put a high emphasis on aerodynamics, particularly on the control of airflow below the body. A flat undercarriage, extensive use of diffusers and the optional rear-wing, in correspondence with the sleek bodywork, return an exceptionally low drag-coefficient of 0.26 (0.27 without the optional rear-wing) and zero aerodynamic lift front and rear.
