Seems that our local TV station won't be showing any telecast of Euro 2012. Previously I remembered they still show opening, semi-final & final. Now zilch. Have to rely on overseas channel or internet for the matches. Won't be catching all the matches so no point paying 60+ for the package. Curious to know how many will sign up it.

Was away in Viet last weekend.. so tune in to the sport channels for world cup in the hotel...there was 2 channels. What was surprising, when I was out of the hotel...near some pasar malam area, I took out my ah tiong made handphone and tune the channels....Surprise surprise...I was able to watch world cup by the road side. Now it is a crying shame that even a developing cuntry can afford to give FREE telecast football to their people......why can't a cuntry whose coffer reserve is top 5 in the world cannot do so...

what the XXXX..........they should have telecast it live, in support of the local team. to telecast the match after the win is

It was reported in ST , 16 Jan 2009, that the purported amounted sought by FIFA is $100 million, hence explain the current stalement in the bidding. Crazy isnt it ?

The reason given was that a live telecast will interfere with the 9.30pm news. What a stupid reason! The match can easily be telecast live on another channel but I guess they have decided not to do that as it would incur some $$$$ loss for mediacorp........tcss only, at the end of the day it's all about $$$$$.
