  3. Not sure if this incident really happened during the recent Bersih 3.0 demonstration in KL or somewhere else but the many dark uniformed security personnel were rather brutal against the defenseless guy in purple. They were punching, kicking and using cane to whack the living daylights out of the purple shirted bloke. Warning: The video footage at the end was rather graphic and showed the brutality committed against the poor man. Watched it at your own discretion. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ps_bash_up.html This Urban Jungle Posted on 02 May 2012 Police or hooligans? Malaysian cops gang up to whack, cane and kick man in public STOMPer AO was appalled by this video of uniformed Malaysian policemen punching, kicking and caning a man in public. He wonders if such violent acts from just over the Causeway could ever happen here. The incident is believed to have occurred during the Bersih 3.0 demonstrations that took place on Apr 28 in Kuala Lumpur. Thousands of people had gathered near Merdeka Square to challenge electoral rules in light of upcoming elections in Malaysia. Another video showing a police car losing control and ramming into a crowd of demonstrators also surfaced on the internet earlier. STOMPer AO wrote: "I do not want to say anything, just watch the video and make your own judgement! "What are human rights? "What if this were to happen in our own country? They are acting like GANGSTERS!"
  4. Feb 17, 2011 Father gets jail and cane for burning his kids' buttocks By Elena Chong A SECURITY officer was given 48 months' jail and eight strokes of the cane on Thursday for burning the buttocks of his two young sons and subjecting them various forms of ill-treatment. The 26-year-old father of three had admitted to nine charges committed at his home between October 2008 and August 2010. Seventeen other charges were taken into consideration. The court heard that the accused had been taking care of his children at home while his wife went to work. The first time he caused hurt to his then five-year-old son was in October 2008, when he burnt him on the buttock with a hot ladle. The following year in 2009, he came home and found some burnt tissue paper in his ash tray and believed that the victim had played with his lighter. He decided to teach him a lesson by lighting the tip of his lighter and pressed it on his buttock. In 2010, he slapped and punched the boy on his arm and used a shoe to hit him for climbing the window grille. Months later, he lashed him with a telephone cable, for messing up the house. Among the abuses he inflicted on his younger boy were to tie him to a pipe in the toilet on two occasions in 2010, to stop the four-year-old from damaging items at home or hurting himself. When the boy was 3 1/2, he had burnt his buttock with the tip of a lighted cigarette, for wetting the newspapers. District Judge Ronald Gwee agreed with the prosecution that deterrent sentences were appropriate in view of the aggravating factors. He said the various acts of the accused over a prolonged period were rather cruel involving the use of lighted cigarettes, a hot ladle and spatula to burn the victims' buttocks. The accused could have been jailed for up to seven years on each count of hurting with a heated substance. For ill-treatment, he could have been fined up to $4,000 and/or jailed for up to four years on each charge. Have children for the sake of having them, dunno how to love and protect them. Give him a life sentence oso no diff.

  6. July 7, 2008 I want to kill ex-girlfriend, and 5 people I hate: Awol NSman By Khushwant Singh and Jermyn Chow AWOL National Serviceman Dave Teo Ming told an army buddy, a pimp, that he had taken the rifle and bullets from camp to kill his ex-girlfriend. The 20-year-old also said he was going to use it in a robbery. Then, he told his platoon leader that he was going to use the rifle to kill five people whom he hated. 'Fortunately, nothing disastrous occurred but a deterrent sentence was necessary to deter like-minded offenders,' said Deputy Public Prosceutor Peter Koy in the High Court on Monday. Teo was jailed a total of nine years and two months and ordered to be caned 18 times. Teo had pleaded guilty to having the rifle and eight bullets with him in a public toilet in Cathay CineLeisure at 8pm on Sept 3 last year. He also admitted to carrying a 40cm-long knife on April 14 last year near his ex-girlfriend's home. In mitigation, his lawyer, Mr K. Mathialahan, asked the court to send Teo for reformative training in view of Teo's age and mental condition. The lawyer said that Teo was suffering from depression after his girlfriend of four years broke up with him in April last year. 'He was under a lot of emotional pressure and was very confused,' said Mr Mathialahan. Teo told his lawyer and a psychiatrist that he had no intentions of killing his girlfriend but wanted to use the rifle to threaten her to make up with him. Arguing that the court should give more weight to what Teo had said before his arrest, DPP Koy pointed out that people will say all sorts of things to earn leniency after they are caught. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...ory_255420.html make an example... y not send him to mental horsepeter instead?
