  1. I was driving at about 50km/h on the extreme left lane at Sembawang road. Just at Sembawang Camp bus stop, I notice this SMRT bus stopped at the bus stop boarding passengers. It was a weekend around noon time where the road was almost empty. The traffic light was green just ahead of the bus stop. The next thing the bus driver did was unbelievable, he literally floor board his throttle and just cut into my path. I sound my horn and jam braked. Guess what the bus driver did next? He wind down his wind at started shouting at me pointing to the GIVE WAY TO BUS SIGN. WTF, I got out of my car and approached the driver and told him that, the traffic light is still green and there is no traffic ahead of me and I got the right of way. The way he driver is dangerous. The Ah Tiong still shouting and point to the yellow box in Chinese and could not even speak a word of English! I told him to call SMRT command centre when every driver have access to. He could not even understand that. He was shouting very violently pointing to the yellow bus lane box!!! I went to get my mobile to call the police by then the driver drove off. I complained to the police on the dangerous driving and they advise me to lodge a complaint with SMRT. So I did go down to Yishun bus interchange and made a complaint against the bus driver and also called the SMRT hotline to lodge a complaint. A week later, a lady from SMRT call and just said that they have warn the driver to be careful during driving and did counsel him. I told her that is not enough as it was a matter of time that he will kill someone on the road. How do I be assured that such an action has been carried out by SMRT? I told her I need a written explanation from SMRT and this is the response by her. Dear Mr...... Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. We certainly do not condone such behaviour and do be assured that we are investigating the matter and will take the appropriate disciplinary action against the driver concerned. We will continue to reiterate to the driver concerned and the other drivers on the importance of slowing down and exercising better judgement when negotiating bends, the importance of checking for oncoming vehicles and signaling in advance prior to changing lanes, and adhering to other traffic rules and regulations. We will continue to monitor our drivers
  2. Have search posts but couldn't find any related topics on my queries hence decided to post a new one. Currently am driving a 220k km WIRA 1.3, from 1996, which majority of the components are from Mitsubishi. Recently have encountered an intermittent problem. The issue is related to the throttle response. Let me describe further below, and hopes anyone who encountered this issue can advised me. Sometimes during light acceleration, when stepping on the accelerator, there is no response (ie doesn't feel power at all), then seconds later, the response came back, and it is like a sudden kick in of the acceleration. Not due to air-conditioning. There were times when maintaining constant accelerator pressure, the acceleration suddenly kicks back and then resume again (something like a newbie disengage the clutch abruptly). Then at times it can be driven smoothly with light accelerator depressing pressure. I have encountered this issue with an EG civic before, but the car was scrapped soon after. I am not sure if this is an issue with high mileage car. But this issue can be really a pain when driving the car in slow traffic because the acceleration isn't smooth at all...

  4. anyone experience this before...? remote control key lately became not sensitive. especially rite after engine off, trying to lock but no response.. gotta to insert key to lock it. even unlocking oso same problem. I am driving a 3 yr old PI accord. any advise?

Hi guys, read thru a few aircon threads and think i still need a new post to see if any bros here got advice. my presea aircon when switched on has totally no response, not even blowing hotair so what could be the potential damage to get it fixed? as in what could have cause the fan blower not to work becos i guess if it works there should not be any problem with cold air i guess. any advice?
  7. This morning when i first started the car engine, it automatically rev up to ~2.5k rpm for about 5 sec before settling down to the normal idle of ~1k rpm.. 1st time i every encountered this.. anyone got idea what could have caused it and if it is anything to worry about??
  8. "typical driver response time to react is about 7 sec or more" This was a statement made by someone. I personally feel that it is more likely to be 0.7 sec than 7 sec. I timed myself while going to the toilet just now...took less than 7 sec to finish peeing.
  9. My friend drives a Volvo S60. Recently he has been experiencing sluggish response from the vehicle, and there is a weird sound that emanates from the engine compartment after he switches off the engine - which persists for about a minue or so. Could anyone help? I have a 3mb "avi" file which I have used to record the sound emanating from the S60 - problem is I do not have anywhere to upload the file! I anyone can potentially help, please PM me and I can e-mail the avi file for your diagnosis. Thank you for any assistance!

However, concerning your request, we are sorry to inform you that we can neither judge nor solve any complaints especially not the technical problems because we are unable to check the technical conditions of the car and we do not have enough of required information. Nevertheless, there is a Skoda dealer or directly the main importer organisation in your country who are fully responsible to consider themselves with the above-mentioned tasks. I have already contacted my colleague from Czech Auto Pvt. Ltd. and asked him to consider himself with your matter. I am sure he will contact you in order to find a solution of your case. Hopefully, everything will be successfully settled and you will be from that moment on fully satisfied with your Skoda car.
