  1. After I updated my profile, my time settings becom screwed up. The time now reads as 11.35am SGT, when it's now 7.35pm GMT +8 (Singapore time). Can anyone advise how do I switch the time back? I tried exploring Edit Profile but there's no option for me to change. Thanks!
  2. Hello. After getting feedback that many members' mail box gets flooded by MCF notifications, we have done some adjustments. 1) Default email notification will be "Daily Email digest". This will ensure that you get one notification per day only. 2) "Delayed email notification" has been removed. The delayed email notification seems to be very much the same as the immediate email notification. So we have removed that setting. Any feedback on this or other "email notification" related matters is appreciated.

  5. Hi! I have a couple of noob questions! Please advise! I have a pioneer dvd HU in my car and when i scroll through the settings, there's this HPF (High Pitch Frequency) option where u can off or set to like 80hz, etc. May I know what is this for?? And also what's the difference between 'Normal' and 'Reverse' option for my subwoofer and how the frequency setting affects the output? Cheers!
  6. Hope someone can help me with the below... I just collected my car from the workshop, and since they disconnected my car batteries, my HU settings were lost. I did have a copy made of my previous settings, so most of the equaliser setup is fine, however I did feel the bass was weak... I suspect that is because i accidentally fiddled with the Rear/Preout settings.... At the moment, its Rear = Full PreOut = Full Is that correct? My Head unit is connected to a 4ch Amp, which powers my front components and a passive Subwoofer at the back. My rear (fill) speakers are connected to the HU directly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Hi all. I'm in a room with sufficient light but I don't know how many percent of contrast and brightness should I set in order to reduce eyestrain so I left it 50% contrast and 50% brightness. How about yours? Regards
  8. hi all, need some help on time alignment settings. which is the "correct" values to input? this is my current one High L -> 167.5cm High R -> 87.5cm Mid L -> 155cm Mid R -> 85cm Low L -> 0cm Low R -> 0cm these settings look weird to me.. eg: High L mean distance from left tweeter (mine's placed on dash) to the the area above speedo right? also, for optimum imaging, where should be it? directly in front of me or at the centre of dash? TIA!

  11. Hi there ... any1 know whether there are EQ settings set by ICE gurus for use in the later Pioneer HUs i.e. 6850 and upwardz. These can be the recmd or ideal EQ settings for say jazz, heavy metal music, rock, vocals etc. which we can use and save as "custom" EQ settings ... thanks in adv..
  12. Hi guys, I'm thinking of going for alignment tomorrow Like to find out what's the best settings for cambering and toe for street driving locally, and stability at speeds of around 100-120? Currently on FL: -1.4 FR: -1.2 RL: -1.2 RR:-1.2 That's before I took out my hub to change wheel bearings.. now all run liao.. Also, are there any recommendations for doing alignment? kenny at riverview is a busy man, and i don't want to bother him.. Heard stamford has jacked up the price of computerised alignment to 80-100 bucks Looking for 60bucks alignment or cheaper, cuz I'll get them to adjust to the MCF( ) recommended settings.. no guess work needed liao Thanks guys!

  14. Just got this Alpine 9813 HU and is trying to get the correct crossover settings. Even bought the JVC sample CD to do some DIY tuning due to tight budget. 1) Hope some kind souls out there can advice on the crossover settings for Front - Rainbow Front components, SLX 230 series http://car.rainbow-audio.de/products/intro...n=2&pro=1&lin=9 Rear - Stock speakers Subwoofer - JBP Single Coil bass tube. 2) Also like to check that if my speakers are running from Amps which had built in crossovers, will it make it alot more complicated to set my HU's crossover settings or it'll take just either HU or Amp's crossover will take effect? 3) My Installer asked for SGD200 for tuning. Anyone care to share their opinion? Many thanks dudes.
  15. Guys, Can you help me with the RSM settings for G9? My current setting is 107% for SP ADJ so that the speedometer is in synch. However, I find that my trip meter also increases by 7% on the RSM. When I change ADJ back to 100%, the tripmeter is OK but speed is not in synch to the speedometer. The rest of the settings should be as the one below right? SP1 - 4P ADJ - 107% SLC - 180km/h TIRE - 100% BTW I am on 205/45/R17 tyres. Thanks!
