David Clutched December 7, 2009 Share December 7, 2009 Fandi got only Pri 6(I heard). Those days people find it hard to accept that being lesser educated can command a much higher salary than those who are U-grads. I once told the boss of a company we just jv, because all their employee is from NTU, I from Man U. Then another time my Lead lamented that we Supervisor all Diploma whilst they only WBH(workboard holder). Those who have work on Universal component inserting machine would know what's a WBH. David Clutched December 7, 2009 Share December 7, 2009 My bad, with regards to Fandi education level. I did not followed Fandi's career. The point was that when he was about to break into professional, football was regarded as a hobby. Naturally there were lots of green-eyes in the 80s'. My favourite then was Quah Kim Song. Atonchia Supersonic December 7, 2009 Share December 7, 2009 He was the few raw talent then, but sports as a career back then was like... 'com'on you guys should get a job' There wasn't much support from government, grassroot, parents, sponsors...... But now the hype is still not there. Sg as a sporting nation - probably Sg as a football nation - ........... when locals support local league more than EPL then there is a future. Support as in gambling and betting doesn't help

Cruisecontrol Neutral Newbie February 21, 2010 Share February 21, 2010 Bring back M'sia Cup? The only way to increase the crowd of the good ol'days is to unite S-League clubs with M'sia & Brunei. Imagine playing in packed stadiums listening to the thunderous roars! Think am dreamin? they say it's starts with a dream. Any takers?
