Tommisu Clutched March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 I have an issue with Dosh Motoring Pte Ltd located at West Coast Car Mart. Bought a Dec 2007 BMW 523i from them on 9th Feb, paid in full and drove off on 11th Feb. Was informed that the car will only be transferred to me 2 weeks later after they settle the outstanding loan of the previous owners. 7 weeks down the road today, the car is still not transferred. I found that out on 16th Mar when I coincidentally logged into onemotoring and saw that the car was still not under my name. I contacted Dosh Motoring the same day, I was told that they missed out on this, they will need some time as they need to get the title from their Finance company, LTA Form B to transfer the car... and somehow, the car was still listed as "Available" in sgcarmart. The deadline and grace I have given Dosh Motoring is up to end of today to complete the transfer (after a push out from last Friday). If not, I will be forced to lodge report with the various authorities, starting with the Police and Singapore Motor Traders Association. I am not sure what they would gain by delaying (or porbably not transferring the car at all to me). I would welcome feedback if anyone has insight to matters like this, and can advise what other authorities I can complain to if eventually there is a need for me to take action.
jcchia 3rd Gear March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 Better to report 1st, What's the point of delay which already occur to you. Seems like they are not sincere in doing business.

Don't be surprised if the finance co.ordered the tow truck to tow back your car. Technically the finance company owns it and you don't.

Transfer is finally done. Either the merchant's operation method is really questionable or they have a financial turn around issue... or whatever. Anyway I'm glad I got this out of the way and settled.

Never handover full payment to the car dealer without insisting they transfer ownership to you on the spot. You'd never know what these crooks are capable of.

asdsad Neutral Newbie April 4, 2017 Share April 4, 2017 Went to view a Nissan at turf city ST AUTOMOBILE, located at A12&A27. Price very high as they mentioned their cars are "showroom" condition, BOOM BOOM! Left after and found out from my friend their STA report may show no much remarks, but upon buying their car brought to workshop, oil seepage etc, mounting etc, and upon contacting the company, they told me the boss only agree to Half-Half. If not can proceed to small claim as their STA report is flawless so unlikely that i will win??? I wonder how can a company have such integrity and confidence that regardless what issue you have with your car purchased not more than a week, they are so sure you will lose even if it results in a case. Also, heard their "good conditioned" Nissans are from TCM, as they've connection don't know whose spouse is working at tan chong. How is that even related i wonder.. Last but not least, noticed they've a manager there by the name of Mr Andy Chin. Rings a bell somewhere, and it got me wondering is this company really trustworthy.
