I've yet to buy the tuning software + ODB to USB cable as I need to take a pic of the stock ECU and confirm with the supplier first before I pay US$500+ sweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gifsweatdrop.gif

This is the best book you can buy on ECU tuning, it's highly recommended by lots of DIY tuners in US car forums :

If you wanted to learn more, this will be a good additional reading :

and if you have plans to T/C a N.A. engine, this is a must read, also very highly recommended by DIY tuners in US :

Just want to state something that I saw a few days ago at the Vertex showroom. Sent my car to Technolink building for grooming. While waiting for the grooming to be done, I decided to walk to the Chery showroom via the car park as it was raining outside. Just then, I saw a lot of QQs(should be new ones as they have SGZ and SJA plates) being driven toward the Chery showroom direction, probably being delivered there for collection. They were driven at a very high speed(30-40kmh) and to my shock of shocks, the drivers din slow down at the bumps at the car park but just ram the small QQs over them. Was so stunned when I see that... the suspensions will definitely be gone. If I am one of the new owners of QQ and I see that, I would definitely be super pissed off seeing what the delivery drivers do to my new ride. [shakehead]

If you see how those car valets unload cars at the port, you will be super pissed off too.

bro, my father once told me back in the 80s, sometimes new car dont have those big lorry to transport, so the cars are driven from the port to the showroom (or wherever collection point), he had a friend who used to drive this job, he says some of these drivers actually race from port to showroom (because time is money, and frankly, it gets mundane just 'moving' cars), so these people ram redline, race your new car fresh from the port----->to showroom

and when you collect, you think nothing wrong, ha, whacked before, and usually new cars already 20-50 km on the clock? probably this was the 'whacked' distance

yap, what you dont know wont hurt you, ignorance is bliss
