I have went down to chery workshop yesthday.Ask the tech manger y only 12+km/l after 5000km but the paper is 24km.He say is normal .

 

I told him I not asking 4 24km but at lease 15km only 65% that what the paper write.Other car only have 20% diff. He asy me to write in What u think can this work.If can work, can some 1 help mi to write (PM mi)

 

He say the car i buy is cheap so car cheap n useless n no power also.Went i buy the car i ask the saleman how the car FC, they say how huch can a 800cc take.But now......... I buy the car not because is cheat only ,price is 1 thing FC also inportant.

 

Pick-up of the car with or without air con is a big diff.Drive with or without air cor fule comsumption is not much diff.

 

Last, this car to me is ...................... I shoule go buy Proton savvy 1.2cc FC only 15km/l in $37k still not so angry

you should see me how i condemn QQ last time.. the 24km/l is an over statement.. so much so that they removed... [laugh]

 

next time buy car, do ur homework k? [laugh] heng my friends really listened to me and din buy [lipsrsealed]

There is a diff in power when driving with or without air con.

 

The difference is due to the power load on the car when the air con is on.

 

For smaller cars, the diff in power is more evident.

 

FC wise, when the air con is off, FC improves but usually we unwind the windows with a/c off.Since air flows into car, it causes aerodynamic drag which in turn causes the car to use more power (though hardly noticible when driving) and therefore does not translate to FC saving.

 

Just to check with you, what fuel grade do you use and what is your driving style (shifting gear at wat RPM)? In my opinion, RON 95 fuel is sufficient.

 

Are there any mods/enhancements that you have included?

 

Allow me to ask also, why did you not consider the Savvy, Myvy, Picanto or even Kelisa?

All these cars are better than QQ in terms of engine response and drive feel & safety which are of uptmost importance.

 

I dont think that china cars are gonna be lousy forever as they will surely improve with more revisions but the amount of revision will be subject to the car company's resolve in manufacturing and engineering a good car.

 

The china car companies should not just make cars that are cheap and cut corners on quality control just to be able to churn out more cheap cars.

 

Last but not least, in SG where practically everything is expensive, getting a car is also a big decision to make, therefore alot of planning and considerations should be put in it.

When getting a car, you should go for test drives and evaluate each and every car according to various factors, then summing up the overall score before buying.

 

Reading reviews are also important too.

 

Since you already gotten the car, you should just carry on if not when you sell it you lose $$ also...

 

So live with it till you are comfortable with changing it.

 

Its a good lesson learnt nevertheless.

so far i've only seen 2 QQs..

 

and 1 of them was on the 1st lane of PIE hogging the lane at 90kmh with a taxi following closely behind and me behing the taxi..i can imagine how loud the engine of that car must be screaming..

 

and the other one was on NSH..i can't imagine if he actually go all the way to the speed limit of 110kmh.. [hur]

 

So far I only See 3 QQ.....Once Is jus Beside KIA Picanto ......

 

Look like TWIN...... [laugh][laugh]

so sad to hear such a rubbish reply from the chery's technican. [shakehead]

Read this posting..

Collect QQ, drive out...tried reversing....CANNOT reverse.....salesman says Software problem.

What the heck is software problem in a car? All should be hardware logic!!!

Wow now then I realised QQ is using seme advance computers for the engine and transmission leh. I hope its not windows ver3.1.

"Sigh... very disappointed and discouraging, today I went to pick up mine. you know what happened? During test drive I was doing a 3 pt turn, the car couldn't reverse. Tried a few more times in the packing area also can not. Intermediate problem. Sales man say is software problem, will fix it then collect another day.

 

This is my 1st new car, veeerrrry DISAPPOINTED !!!
