Hee... 50km/h is actually not the most fuel efficient speed.

 

It should be between 70km/h to 90km/h depending on your ride.

In Singapore, where there are overhead bridges, slow down and look up for Traffic POlice

 

thats the biggest irony in Singapore.

 

1) everywhere got bridge

2) bridge is for people to cross road, end up is for some to take photos for hours.

3) end up everyone look up in the sky instead of whats infront and around their car....

4) Because there are some people who travels fast.. (sometimes new to the area, dunno speed limit?) when they see these people... they do E-brake ..

 

so much for safe driving.

true or maybe LTA must consult TP where to build bridges.hahahha

LTA consults TP on where to build overhead bridges, bus stops, etc, etc, not specifically for ambushes, but for traffic safety and traffic congestion issues. At the same time, they also consult Nparks on where to plant bushes. Dealt with them many times before in my course of work. I am sure TP operations is one of the "hidden agendas" in the consultations.

Along that stretch...sometime the park their van after 4 Season Hotel...there is a lobang for them...almost at the crest of the slope. Aim at the same direction towards Wisma Atria.

 

Usually they hide there at night. So beware....

Times to downgrade to 660cc car. Powerful car like 1.5 above tend to drive faster.

 

Thats why i always wonder why ppl go for fast cars...like Honda Accord Euro, Subaru WRX blah blah blah.....they have high tendency to overspeed on a normal road. But dont speed also cannot....defeat the purpose of buying such cars. Really LPPL.

With the Christmas decorations set up now - Orchard Road is super congested with tourists, photographers and JAYWALKERS. The government probably don't want any tourists to be run over. Also, motoring fines are higher than jay-walking fines , might as well fine the motorists . Nowadays, going through Orchard Rd in the morning is like an obstacle course - swerve here and there to avoid jay-walkers

Ya lor..Could barely see him in that pic. Maybe we should 'implement' some sort of code amongst us drivers. We could high beam 2-3 times to tell cars on the opposite lane that there is a speed trap like wat we usually do on NSH.
