I'm surprised that there's some big shots like VP of P&G, GM of Hitachi, etc... being members.

 

I would think that when one is very rich, one wouldn't bother with this sorta plan... since $$$ is never an issue and they can just travel as & when they wish w/o having to do their own planning and arrangements.

 

Thought it is more catered for people who are caught inbetween (Not so poor that cannot afford, yet not rich enough to travel on 5 stars accomodation on rack rates as & when one likes)

My points super low at 14k a year. I paid a sub-20k price in SGD.

 

The way I see the break even is to gauge it with the current prices of the accomodation w/o the membership.

 

Its already 3yrs and this initial price I dumped in is in a sense almost "finished".
