Quantum 5th Gear April 9, 2007 Share April 9, 2007 IMHO, Latio is the 1st choice , genuine Jap, brilliant FC and quiet engine, and TCM good service, the most value of money 2nd should be city, good power and FC, although from thai and KM service a bit jala 3rd should be vios, although from thai, good power and FC, but BM service is quite... This info was told by the SE in Kah Motor. Carcraze 1st Gear April 9, 2007 Share April 9, 2007 (edited) my dad was very interested in the new vios cause it looks like the camry. but when he went to the showroom he was utterly disappointed. considering either the camry or accord currently it looks like a camry? maybe the JDM version.. but the Vios is not in the same category with the Camry and Accord. I'm surprised your dad was considering it together with the Camry and the Accord. Totally different class. care to share with us what was he disappointed with? Gabriel 1st Gear April 9, 2007 Share April 9, 2007 Guys, if you are thinking of getting the New Vios so do think twice as I have information leak out from Borneo SE that the new Vios is no longer from Thailand, it is from China. Even all the engines in Toyota cars including those Japan models are made in China though they might be assembled in Japan. If you notice on the engine performance, you will notice the newer engines from Toyota are much rough and noisy compared those older VVTI engines. Just my sharing, it is up to you to believe and good luck. Talk is cheap! Shern25 2nd Gear April 9, 2007 Share April 9, 2007 This is wrong info. The correct info is that civic is made in Japan and Thailand. Singapore KM is only bringing the japan model. Not sure the thailand made is for which country. Maybe for Malaysia and certainly for thailand. As of now, KM has no intention to bring in the Thai made one.
