Murphys33 Neutral Newbie March 14, 2007 Share March 14, 2007 Is it a good idea to use a blower to dry the car? I was told that limiting contact with the paintwork will help prevent scratches. ↡ Advertisement

Teckheng Neutral Newbie March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 how long can you prevent your paintwork from scratches ? unless it's a showroom car, and a blower is around. No point getting a blower unless you are the winner of the Ang Bao TOTO last month.
Slayer Clutched March 16, 2007 Share March 16, 2007 why not ? if that is practically feasible. scratches is inevitable. that's why the sealant and wax is there to sacrifice for the actual paint.
Murphys33 Neutral Newbie March 17, 2007 Author Share March 17, 2007 A Blower cost about $150..... I think this may be a cost effective solution.
Picanto 3rd Gear March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 $150 is very expensive. not worth the money. Perhaps a good pc of chamois can do the job as well.

Dry dust on the vehicle is hard to blow. Use brush. This kind of blower, YMMV. This one from Shopee - I would say hit and miss. If your car is coated, acceptable. But suggest to wear ear plugs. 😆

I have a leaf blower but it's wired.

P.S. You can look at the Keelat brand. They have other tools using the same battery. I have the above blower and also the handheld pressure washer. Gnahp Turbocharged November 15, 2024 Share November 15, 2024 (edited) I use this to blow away the dust on my car, weekly for car drying after wash, I use a bath towel size microfiber cloth much faster and took much lesser effort Edited November 15, 2024 by Gnahp ↡ Advertisement
